Our Terms


*By making a payment you acknowledge and agree to the terms listed below:


*Deposits must be paid within 24 hours of booking in order to have your event put on our schedule. If deposit is not paid, you risk someone else reserving your time slot.


* Please keep your phone on you the day of the event so that the performer can get a hold of you. They will call you from a restricted phone number when they are ready to join your party so that you may get the children ready. Please make sure children are away from where the children can see your performer get in/out of their car (characters) so as not to ruin the magic and surprise of the arrival.


*Please make sure there is parking for your performer. If they cannot find a place to park they will call you to assist them. If there is no parking available someone may need to move a car to open a spot for them. We prefer to have our performers park a couple houses down (unless weather requires) so that the children do not see them in their cars.


*If instructed to pay in cash, please make sure to have your cash payment ready for your performer at the end of their performance. We are unable to wait for payment as it may make us late to our next event.


*Although not required, tipping is always greatly appreciated by our performers! They put a lot of time and effort into preparing for each event to make sure it is magical for you and your guests! If you do decide to tip, cash is preferred. A wonderful way to thank your performer for a memory you will cherish forever!


*If instructed to pay payments online, your final payment is due no later than the day before your event. 


*Our performers DO NOT carry change. Any extra amount given is considered a tip.


*Costumes may be altered slightly depending on the weather and/or health recommendations. Examples of this would be a nude leotard or a coordinating shoulder shrug in cold weather. During the Covid-19 phases of re-opening, the performer may wear a clear plastic mask over their mouth if recommended/required by government/health officials and/or preferred by the performer.


*We do our absolute best to arrive on time to every event. However, sometimes unforeseen traffic or other circumstances may cause a delay. If so, you will still receive your full scheduled length of entertainment from the time we arrive. The performer will call you if they are running late.


*Please make sure that there is adequate space for your performer to provide services. Face painters will need a flat surface to work on as well as something to sit on. Ex: the end of a table and two chairs or park table and bench. If you have booked a character entertainer, they will need an open space such as a living room or grassy (not muddy) area to perform their show and entertain the children.


*It is important that our performers feel safe at all times while at your event. If they feel uncomfortable for any reason they will alert you of the situation and if the incidents persist the performer is permitted to leave the event at any time. Examples of this would be guests attacking or hitting a mascot character, our performers receiving any form of sexual harassment such as inappropriate comments of a sexual nature or inappropriate touching, and threats of any kind. We are there for good, clean fun and to entertain the children. In the event of this, you agree to still pay the full balance. No refunds will be given.


*An adult must be present at all times. At no point is the performer to be left alone with the children or to provide care for them. 


*Face painting done at the event is meant for the children attending the event only. We try to do as many activities as possible in our allotted time and face painting adults and older teens may cause a performer not to be able to complete all activities advertised. The characters will only paint adults and older children if time permits. If you wish to have adults and teens painted as well, please reserve extra time in advance. We use professional non-toxic paint for face painting. Should any reactions such as staining, irritation or rashes be caused by face paint, Fancy Fairytale Parties L.L.C and its employees are not responsible. Those who are painted do so at their own risk. All of our supplies are cleaned and disinfected between events. In some cases, during the early stages of re-opening our state after the stay at home order we may opt to use disposable stencils and sponges on the arm area only in lieu of traditional face painting. This will be done on a case by case basis at our discretion and is done for the protection of you, your guests and our employees. Face painters and characters may also wear clear plastic face shields and/or masks while providing services if it is recommended by government officials and/or a preference of the performer.


*Fancy Fairytale Parties L.L.C, it’s performers and employees are not liable or responsible in any way for any injuries any party attendees may incur at the event while engaging with our performers or participating in our activities. Nor are they responsible should any property damage be caused during the event.


*If damage is caused to the performer’s supplies or costume beyond normal wear and tear by someone or something at the event you may be held financially responsible.



***Cancellation Policy:


*In the event of a cancellation for any reason, your deposit/pre-payment is non-refundable. Illness, extreme weather, deaths in the family, natural disasters, epidemics/pandemics. and government regulated shut downs are no exception. We will however allow you to reschedule your event and apply the deposit towards the new date. In some cases, we may allow you to exchange the deposit paid for one or a combination of the virtual options we offer. You may also transfer your deposit to a friend or family member to use towards their event.


*Location Changes after booking are subject to an additional mileage fee


*Cancellations/Reschedules must be made no later than 24 hours before the event. If we show up to your party and you have cancelled or rescheduled it without notifying us, you will still be responsible for paying the balance due on your entertainment for that date. 


*Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule we can apply the deposit you made toward the new event date. This must be done no later than 24 hours before the event. If the event is rescheduled less than 24 hours before the reserved time, you will forfeit your deposit and must begin the booking process from the beginning. We allow you to reschedule the event ONE time without penalty. If you reschedule the event a second time, you forfeit your deposit and must begin the booking process from the beginning.
